De Rigo has announced that its Freedom business model has expanded into the main European and Asian markets.

Currently active in countries such as Italy, Spain and the UK, De Rigo expects to take the project to US and Middle Eastern retailers by the end of the year, as well as targeting a wider European presence.

The Freedom model, which De Rigo started in 2016, is designed to meet the needs of modern retailing through closer collaboration and identifying the eyewear needs of customers.

Director of Freedom, Francesco Morelli, said: “Trade needs greater collaboration with industry to truly increase its profits, thanks to a greater sell-out, a reduction of goods in stock and a lower risk of having ‘old’ products in stock.”

“In light of the excellent results achieved we have decided to accelerate opening new markers, reaching out to serve customers on a global scale,” he added.

The project currently involves four brands in the De Rigo portfolio, including its house brands, Police and Lozza.
