Design Eyewear Group brands launch new styles
Frames inspired by the 1950s combine opaque and translucent acetates
04 May 2018
The Design Eyewear Group has launched new styles from its Face a Face, Woow and InFace brands.
‘Blast’ (pictured below) and ‘Jadde’ are the two new Face a Face styles, which combine opaque and transparent acetates in a variety of colour options.
Available in a 1950s-inspired high square shape or in a wide cat’s eye shape, ‘Blast’ deconstructs its five colour options by using transparent or pale colours to give the eyebrow a floating effect.
‘Jadde’ has a two-coloured front to create a frame-in-frame effect, with six colour options for the two shapes available.

New Woow styles include ‘Pop up’ (pictured below), which is a thin metal frame with acetate rims that is inspired by big 1970s shapes.
‘Make sense’ is described by the eyewear company as a “big, thin and colourful” frame that will “take you straight back to the 80s.”
It combines transparent and opaque acetates and is available in two shapes, with six colour options.

Danish brand InFace has launched three new styles, which the company explained offer “a new take on lightness, flexibility and smart details.”
The ‘IF1335’ model has a titanium front with stainless-steel arms and long acetate tips. It is available in two shapes, each with four colour options.
Acetate style, ‘IF9413’ (pictured below), is also available in two shapes with four colour options, which are laminated on the front and decorated on the arms.
