Transition Optical uses the launch of its latest product to raise funds for local charity
09 May 2017
Adaptive lens specialist, Transitions Optical, officially marked the launch of its new ‘Style Colours’ lens collection with a charity fundraiser.
Staff, who were encouraged to dress in one of the new lens colours – Amber, Emerald, Sapphire or Amethyst – raised more than £300 for Thornbury Stroke Support during a lunch event and raffle.
The new coloured lenses, which have been available to practitioners from 2 May, are offered alongside Transitions’ existing more “functional palette” of lenses, which includes Grey, Brown and Graphite Green.
All Transitions lenses, including the new range, adapt from clear to dark when exposed to UV light.
