Colours from Transitions

Transitions Optical has launched a range of new light adaptive lenses, which are available to practitioners from 2 May. 

The Style Colours collection, which is the first launch from Transitions in a number of years, comprises four lens colours – Amethyst, Sapphire, Emerald and Amber. The company says that the lenses are style-driven and aim to provide wearers with the option of matching or complementing their chosen frame in line with their individual style.  

The coloured lenses are offered alongside Transitions’ existing more “functional palette” of lenses, which includes Grey, Brown and Graphite Green. 

The company highlighted: “As well as offering a unique, stylish way for wearers to express themselves, the launch aims to bring Transitions lenses to a younger consumer. Style Colours introduces a contemporary element to purchasing prescription eyewear; colours can be selected to either match or complement the chosen frame in line with the wearer’s individual style.”

All Transitions lenses, including the new range, adapt from clear to dark when exposed to UV light.
