Job Title: Optometrist – Community Practice
Company: Stoke on Trent area
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per year
Job Type: Part time 2 days a week Saturdays negotiable
Job Overview
We are looking for a qualified and caring optometrist to join our established community practice. You will deliver high-quality, patient-focused eye care, performing comprehensive examinations, managing ocular health conditions, and supporting our commitment to excellent clinical outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Perform full eye examinations and assess visual health.
- Diagnose and manage refractive errors and common eye conditions.
- Prescribe glasses, contact lenses, and medication where appropriate.
- Provide clear patient education on eye health and preventative care.
- Maintain accurate records and follow clinical protocols.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- GOC-registered Optometrist.
- Strong clinical and communication skills.
- Experience with older or complex patients beneficial.
- Reliable, organised, and committed to patient care.
