Kirk & Kirk has given its Kaleidoscope collection of ophthalmic frames a revamp to celebrate the company founders’ 25th anniversary in optics.

The collection is launching at 100% Optical this weekend (4–6 February) at London ExCeL.

Inspired by some of their earliest designs, the company founders, Jason and Karen Kirk, have gone back to their roots to launch the new ‘Kaleidoscope – Quartz-Edition.’

The ophthalmic styles are available in four new colours – ‘onyx,’ ‘amber,’ ‘sapphire’ and ‘ruby.’

The new frames feature specially commissioned materials ‘that glitter and sparkle,’ according to the company.

Handmade in France using a unique grade of acrylic, the material allows the frame to have substance, yet be incredibly lightweight to wear and wonderfully comfortable, according to Kirk & Kirk.

Kirk & Kirk director, Jason Kirk, said: “We have loved working in this industry for the past 25 years and how better to celebrate than with a bit of glitter.

“The Quartz Edition is a pure celebration and a representation of both Karen and I, our past and our vision for the future.”
