Simon Berry has been an optometrist for 30 years and opened his own independent practice in Durham in 2002. The practice concentrates on being accessible to all, including children. Simon has also worked as a specialist optometrist in a paediatric hospital clinic for 30 years. He is the inventor of the visual fixation system (VFS) for use in examination of young children and patients with learning disabilities
