The British Contact Lens Association (BCLA) will host its Myopia Management Meeting on 13 September.

The event is targeted at optometrists and contact lens opticians with an interest in myopia management and control in children.

Experts including Kate Gifford, Jan Roelof Polling, Gillian Bruce and Katie Harrop will lead discussion group sessions.

A round table discussion will also take place, featuring representatives from the AOP, the College of Optometrists, and the General Optical Council.

The BCLA said the event will explore the use of soft dual focus and multifocal contact lenses, orthokeratology, atropine and spectacles for myopia control.

The event, which is sponsored by CooperVision and Zeiss, takes place at the Conference Aston Meeting Suites at Aston University, Birmingham.
