Tickets released to attend AOP evening reception at 100% Optical
The AOP is offering a limited number of complimentary tickets to members to join an evening reception reuniting optics and recognising the role of the profession through the pandemic
01 April 2022
The AOP has announced plans to host an evening reception during 100% Optical 2022, offering 30 pairs of complimentary tickets exclusively for AOP members.
Recognising that “two long years” have elapsed since the profession was last able to come together at 100% Optical, the AOP shared its plans to mark the occasion.
Called ‘All together: an evening with the AOP,” the association explained that the reception will “bring together members, sector bodies and industry partners to acknowledge the extraordinary contribution made by the profession through the pandemic.”
Supported by CooperVision, Alcon, Ocuco, Lloyd & Whyte, and 100% Optical, the reception will take place on the evening of 24 April, and will be hosted on the Sunborn Yacht, docked at London’s ExCeL.
The event will also see the presentation of the AOP’s Lifetime Achievement award. Sponsored by Alcon, the award will honour an optometrist “who has made an outstanding contribution to the AOP and the profession.”
The AOP has released 30 pairs of complimentary tickets for AOP members who will be attending 100% Optical, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Members interested in attending the reception are being encouraged to reserve places by emailing the AOP events team with their name and contact details.
Those successful in securing tickets will have their places confirmed in the coming weeks.
