Optometry undergraduates at Cardiff University hosted an annual Christmas ball last month, raising almost £500 for charity.
Held at the Angel Hotel in Cardiff, the event was attended by 155 people, with a raffle on the night raising funds for national charity Guide Dogs and Maggie’s Club, a charity that supports people with special educational needs and sight impairment.
The evening was organised by the Cardiff Optometry Society and supported by Louis Stone, who donated table decorations as well as a Prism Bar Set to the charity raffle.
The Prism Bar Set was won by student Sophie Coverdale, who is pictured receiving her prize.
