RNIB to host low vision course
The keynote speech will be delivered by specialist optometrist, Bill Harvey
13 September 2018
The Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) will host a low vision course with six CET points available at its Low Vision Centre in London.
Taking place on 18 September, the one-day course returns following the success of the first event in February with a theme of A holistic approach to low vision.
It will include talks on magnification, emotional support and legal issues surrounding low vision and a presentation by Guide Dogs for the Blind.
A keynote speech will be delivered by specialist optometrist, Bill Harvey, who will present his thoughts during How to do Low Vision.
The course will also feature a practical element with attendees given the opportunity to increase their knowledge of electronic aids.
For booking information, email [email protected]. The event is sponsored by OxSight, Associated Optical and OrCam technologies.
