OT is sad to report that the chief executive officer of eyewear company Dunelm Optical, Peter Beaumont, has passed away.
Dunelm explained that Mr Beaumont died peacefully on 17 August.
“He was a very well-known and respected figure in the optical industry and will be sadly missed,” a statement from Dunelm said.
The eyewear company added that Mr Beaumont’s legacy of running a family business will be continued by managing director, David Baker, and product development director, Oliver Beaumont.
