Refractive surgery

Focus Clinics is exhibiting at 100% Optical for the first time and will launch its new training services for optometrists to enable them to co-manage refractive surgery patients.

The training is designed to support optometrists who wish to hold pre-operative consultation and aftercare appointments with patients in practice.

The clinicians at Focus Clinics will provide a half-day, CET-accredited training session, which will offer optometrists the knowledge to handle questions about refractive surgery.

Focus Clinics highlighted that being able to see refractive patients in practice provides a new revenue stream, a more varied working day, and the opportunity to be more involved with their patients’ eye care.
