Optical Express to recruit 150 optometrists

Optical Express has announced plans to recruit 150 additional optometrists across its 130 UK practices over the next 12 months.

The multiple’s plans coincide with its establishment of a company remuneration scheme, that Optical Express says will give its optometrists the opportunity to earn a boosted salary package “worth in excess of £100,000 per annum.”

CEO of Optical Express, David Moulsdale, explained: “Our optometrists are at the heart of our business – they are with patients every step of the way. Until now, the value of experienced specialist optometrists hasn’t been recognised or rewarded in a consistent way across the industry and we believe it’s time to change that.”
