NHS voucher values card published
Handy card detailing NHS voucher values is published and will be sent to AOP members
06 April 2016
Although a freeze to the NHS voucher values, which came into effect on 1 April, was confirmed by the government last month, a handy Vouchers at a Glance card has been produced by the Optical Confederation, in association with the AOP.
The card details the voucher values across the range of NHS optical vouchers, which are available to children, people on low incomes and those with complex sight problems.
The card is specific to England, Wales and Scotland. At the time of going to print, voucher values in Northern Ireland had not yet been confirmed.
A copy of the card will be sent out to all AOP members in the May edition of OT. Practitioners can also access the information online via the AOP website.
