Keeler welcomed 40 Aston University optometry undergraduates to its headquarters for a tour of its facility and to learn how ophthalmoscopes are made.
The Windsor-based company, which is the only ophthalmic instrument manufacturer in the UK, offers the tours as a way to inform students about the practical side of diagnostic care.
Keeler’s Laura Haverley, who hosted the tour, commented: “It was a privilege to meet with the future of optometry and host them here. We had a great day and I hope the students left with valuable knowledge that will help them with their course and future career.”
