Dispensing Optician

We are looking for a qualified dispensing optician to support our optometrists. We welcome applications from newly qualified or experienced individuals.

Responsibilities include:

• Carrying out dispensing role to a high standard. Maintaining an up to date knowledge of lenses and frames
• All your dispensing skills will be needed, including taking measurements, fittings, adjustments, repairs, checking, and ordering
• Dealing with reps, so we have the most up to date frames for our patients.

As a practice we are keen to encourage and support colleagues wishing to further develop their skills. There will be the opportunity to enhance knowledge and skills to specialise further.

We are a well established independent practice with a patient-centred focus, looking for someone with excellent people skills, good technical expertise plus a flare for style and eyewear fashion. Also a caring approach that helps retain our loyal patients and a good communicator are essential.
