OT and Grafton Optical Instagram Giveaway October 2024

Terms and conditions as follows:

1. The giveaway opens on Wednesday 16 October 2024 and will close on Tuesday 29 October 2024 at 23:59
2. All entrants must adhere to the ‘How to enter’ guidelines post on OT’s giveaway post
3. The giveaway is open all optometry students and pre-reg optometrists studying in the United Kingdom
4. Multiple entries are permitted. Each tag of another Instagram account counts as one entry
5. The winner will be selected from the account that posts the comment rather than any account tagged in the comments. Accounts tagged in the comments are encouraged to enter by posting themselves
6. The winner will be selected at random using a randomiser tool
7. The giveaway prize is 1x Grafton Optical ‘Student kit bag 5,’ worth approximately £271
8. The prize will be sent by Grafton Optical
9. The prize is non-transferable, non-negotiable and there is no cash alternative
10. All entrants accept that OT and Grafton Optical may use their data in order to contact them in relation to winning the giveaway prize
11. All employees of the Association of Optometrists, including student reps, OT, including regular contributors, and Grafton Optical are excluded from winning the prize. This includes any family members
12. OT and Grafton Optical take no responsibility for loss, delay or damage incurred as a result of entering this giveaway
13. OT and Grafton Optical are not responsible for any technical issues (or other) that impede an entrants’ entry being submitted correctly and/or in full by the deadline stated
14. OT will not be responsible for incorrect data entry when participating in the giveaway
15. OT and Grafton Optical are not responsible for any changes in Instagram profiles or additional information at the time of entering the giveaway
16. Under no circumstances will OT or Grafton Optical be held liable for any information relating to the giveaway which is accessed via third party websites or homepages that do not coincide with the original information or terms and conditions
17. In the event of a spam or fake account arising due to the giveaway, OT and Grafton Optical are not responsible for its actions. OT and Grafton Opticalencourages followers to report fake accounts to OT and Instagram, and to not engage with them
18. The winner will be contacted and announced within two days of the closing date
19. If the winner fails to respond within three business days of the first notification, the winner will forfeit their right to claim the prize and a new winner will be selected at random
20. OT will not be responsible for incorrect data entry when participating in the giveaway
21. If the winner is unable to claim the prize for any reason, OT reserves the right to award the prize to an alternative winner. OT or Grafton Optical will not be liable to reimburse the first winner with any prize in any capacity
22. OT and Grafton Optical do not accept any responsibility for any liabilities, damage, disappointment, injury, death or loss incurred as a result of participating in the giveaway or accepting the prize. OT will only engage in liabilities that are not exempt by law and will only be limited to the minimum permissible by law
23. OT reserves the right to cancel or modify the terms of the giveaway without any notice
24. The giveaway is not affiliated or sponsored by Instagram in any capacity
25. The organiser of the giveaway is OT. All complaints in relation to the giveaway should be emailed to [email protected] and contact will be made within five business days.
