Terms and conditions

1. Entry is free and open to all UK based Optometry Today (OT) Instagram followers working in optics only. Non-followers can follow and then enter the competition
2. Each entry must include a 2018 edition of OT 
3. The competition begins on 16 August 2018 and closes at midnight on 16 September 2018
4. Entries must be submitted in accordance with the ‘How to enter’ guidelines by midnight on the stated deadline
5. By entering the competition, entrants accept that OT and the competition sponsor, Hoya, may use their photograph for promotional purposes, without payment, the requirement for prior notification or permissions 
6. Entrants accept OT may use their data in order to contact them in relation to the competition
7. Employees of the AOP/OT, Think Publishing and Hoya, as well as regular contributors of OT, are excluded from entering the competition. Entries are taken at the photographer's risk 
8. OT takes no responsibility for loss, delay or damage incurred as a result of entering this competition. Entries are taken at the photographer’s risk
9. OT is not responsible for any technical issues (or other) that impede an entrants’ entry being submitted correctly and/or in full by the deadline stated
10. OT is not responsible for any changes in Instagram profile name or any other information provided at the time of entering the competition
11. OT is in no way liable for the reproduction or indirect access via third party website or home page access which misstates or omits any of the information or terms and conditions connected with the promotion
12. Entries will be shortlisted by OT and judged by Hoya. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into
13. The winner will be contacted and announced by the end of October 2018. Vouchers will be sent recorded delivery within 14 days of the winner's response
14. If a winner does not respond within 20 business days of the first notification, the winner forfeits their right to claim the prize and a new winner is selected. OT shall not be responsible should a winner provide incorrect contact details
15. If a category winner is unable to take up their prize for any reason, OT reserves the right to award it to an alternative winner, in which case the first winner chosen will not be eligible for any share of the prize whatsoever
16. The prize includes Love2Shop holiday gift cards totalling the value of £500
17. The prize does not include any other expenses incurred in taking up or during the trip/s
18. The prize is non-transferable, non-negotiable and there is no cash alternative
19. OT and the competition sponsor does not accept any responsibility for any liabilities, damage, disappointment, injury, death or loss incurred as a result of participating in the competition or accepting the prize other than such liability that cannot be excluded by law, where liability shall be limited to the minimum permissible by law
20. OT reserves the right to cancel or amend the terms of this prize and without notice 
21. The organiser of the competition is OT. Any complaints regarding the competition should be sent to OT Instagram competition, Association of Optometrists, 2 Woodbridge Street, London EC1R 0DG
