100% Optical education programme announced
The UK’s premier optical show returns with extensive CPD to support practitioners across all modes of practice
The first phase of the 2027 programme for 100% Optical – the UK’s largest optical event, has been announced. The show will take place at Excel London from 27 February - 1 March 2027.
Delivered by the Association of Optometrists (AOP) as the event’s official UK partner, the programme offers professional learning suited to all modes of practice.
Building on the success of previous years, the programme features extensive clinical content and opportunities for practical skills development. Attendees will benefit from CPD-accredited sessions, including lectures, interactive workshops and peer reviews delivered by leading experts from across the sector.
Dr Byki Huntjens, AOP Education Lead, said: “We are pleased to announce the programme for the 2027 show. It has been designed to equip attendees with the confidence to navigate change, adopt new clinical responsibilities and deliver exceptional patient care. Informed by insight from across the profession, the learning offer supports clinical decision making and the continued development of the profession.”
“With over 100 CPD sessions available across multiple stages, practitioners in any mode of practice can access a broad range of education early in the third year of the cycle, supporting them to meet the GOC’s requirements across key domains. AOP members can also gain access to additional CPD points in the exclusive AOP Lounge, where expert speakers will lead sessions covering professional development, clinical practice and regulatory updates.”
The next phase of education will be announced in November.
Delegates observing Ramadan will be able to access prayer rooms, Iftar refreshments and a meal voucher, which can be requested through the registration form. For more information on sessions and to register for the event, visit the AOP website.
