Tom Davies has launched new nose fitting templates to support opticians offering a bespoke fitting service for its frames.

The British eyewear brand has released 48 new templates that aim to “take the innovative bespoke service to the next level.”

When making a bespoke frame for a customer, opticians will take a range of facial measurements, including the head, ear and nose bridge. Founder and eyewear designer, Tom Davies, believes the nose measurement is key for creating perfectly fitting frames.

After 11 years of offering its fitting system, as well as much research, Tom Davies launched its first nose fitting templates four years ago.

Discussing the introduction of the new templates, Mr Davies explained: “Over the last 18 months I have been spending a lot of time in my own retail stores bespoking a lot of customers and I realised that as styles had changed, my fitting templates had not. I needed some bigger deeper shapes. I set about redesigning my entire collection and adding lots of new brilliant and comfortable nose fits at the same time.”

The new fitting templates can be purchased as a set through the company’s Supertool system, and practices that have a bespoke account can add to their existing fitting collection.

The new fitting templates will be unveiled next month.
