Komono to tour European festivals

New collections and an art installation will be on display at the Komono festival booth

Antwerp-based eyewear company, Komono, will showcase its new collections at eight of Europe’s summer festivals, including the Dorset festival, End of the Road.

While on tour, Komono will invite festival-goers to experience music, design and art at its festival booth, a rectangular-shaped space covered with reflective mirrors. 

The booth is intended as a platform for sharing experiences on social media and will include a temporary store, an interactive art installation as well as a meet and greet space for performing artists. 

A music video directed by creative director, Pierre Debusschere, will also be played in the booth and shared on social media. Showcasing different music genres and dance styles, the video is designed to create an interaction between the spectator and the artist. 

Komono’s Elementary collection has been updated for the summer, with primary colour options added to the range of lightweight frames. Its new Gossamer collection will also be showcased, which includes flat steel frames in four colour options. 

On tour, Komono will also visit We Love Green in Paris, Splash in Berlin, Dour and Pukkelpop in Belgium, Best Kept Secret and Amcat in the Netherlands, and DGTL in Barcelona.
