Dunelm reveals sun collections

Dunelm Optical has announced that its 2018–19 catalogue featuring its new prescription sun collections will be available at the end of January.

The catalogue presents details of six new prescription sun frames from Lyle & Scott, 13 Paul Costelloe, five Retro, nine Sunset+, 12 Sunset and four Whiz Kids.

Speaking about the new releases, Dunelm Optical’s managing director, Peter Beaumont, said: “We are delighted to launch our latest range of prescription sunglasses. The collection offers the greatest choice of designer and classic styles for men, women and children, covering all price points. We are proud with the evolution of each and every new design and the variety of choices will not disappoint.”

Sharing details of a frame from its popular Whiz Kids collection, Dunelm explained that the Whiz Kids Sun ‘446’ is the signature frame in the collection. The highlighted that the metal rim aviator shape and style is an interpretation of eyewear styles that continue to trend in adult eyewear collections.

Highlighting the Paul Costelloe Sun ‘62,’ Dunelm described the frame as “exuding sophistication and class.” The full frame is available in Brown Mottle Italian acetate with gold-coloured metal sides and polarised lenses, “keeping on trend with the current retro design of round shape, keyhole bridge and brow bar this style is favoured by top motor racing drivers,” it said.
