Light as a feather

Stepper has launched a new lightweight ophthalmic style for women, which is said by the company to be “a good example of what the latest in frame manufacturing can deliver.” 

Based on a classic combination profile, the upper parts of the new ‘SI-50124’ titanium frame feature a colourful pattern featuring a feather or a leaf design (pictured).

Talking about the new design, company founder, Hans Stepper, said: “Imagine a Batique print or a classic Biba dress to give you some idea of the pattern.

“The look is more fabric than metalwork and the overall styling has a very fashionable retro feel.

“The pattern is an organic feather or leaf design and is available in three stunning colour variants: bronze feather, blue feather and black feather.”

The new frame is 100% titanium, offering lightness, durability and hypoallergenic benefits to the wearer. “A weight of just 8.5g is remarkable for such a sophisticated frame,” Mr Stepper concluded.
