New website boosts business

Investment pays off for Continental Eyewear

New website boosts business
Continental Eyewear has launched a new website which features news and details of the latest additions to its nine collections of frames and sunglasses.

The initiative has already created a rise in sales according to the company.

Continental Eyewear’s sales and marketing director, Neal Grimason, told OT: “The increase in business generated via our website has been considerable, so the investment was not only necessary, but worthwhile.”
Explaining the reasons for the changes, he added: “Whilst our website has always received praise for its ease of use, we knew we could do better. A considerable investment has been made in doing a root and branch re-build. The primary focus was on maintaining the ease of ordering but also to make it more informative.” Mr Grimason continued: “With our different frame ranges multiplying up to many thousands of permutations, this was no mean feat. Already though we are receiving plaudits from customers on the improved layout, the ease of navigation and the fact that information is more easily obtained.” He concluded: “The procedure of creating an online account is also very straightforward which is probably why we are seeing dozens of customers each month deciding that online ordering is the future.” The company has also created a Facebook page and will shortly be doing a photoshoot for both its ‘Lazer Junior’ and ‘Zenith Zest’ collections. Details of the shoot will be on the web and the Facebook page. It will be followed by two new printed brochures being sent to practices across the UK.
