The 2015 Paul Costelloe collection combines a sophisticated mix of modern metals, acetates and different materials such as wood and carbon fibre.
All of the designer’s signature traits are present in the new range from one of the ‘London Fashion Week Establishment ’ such as classic shapes, contemporary lines and subtle detailing.
Updates for 2015 come through a more experimental use of colour and materials. Matte stainless steel metals and plastics are fused with hard wearing, resin-coated wood on frame ‘PC 5124’ and ‘PC 5125,’ while the racing car favourite material carbon fibre is used again in ‘PC 5132’ for strength and durability.
The semi rimless style, ‘PC 5131,’ is predicted by Dunelm to be a best-seller for this season.
Women’s frames feature splashes of embellishment such as floral temples and white-grey marble surface prints, made more striking against a classic black front frame. More adventurous colour palettes play with pastel graduated tonal effects and silvery transparent acetates, as seen in style ‘PC 5127,’ while shapes centre around flattering high joints.
Dunelm managing director, Peter Beaumont, said: “There’s a real freshness around the new collection, bringing out the best in Paul’s strong design credentials. Elegance and sophistication is, as always, front of mind with Costelloe eyewear.”
