100% Optical and AOP celebrate collaboration award

The 10-year partnership was recognised at the Exhibition News Indy Awards for ‘Best Brand Collaboration’

The organisers of 100% Optical have received an award for ‘Best Brand Collaboration’ at the Exhibition News Indy Awards.

The award recognised the 10-year relationship between 100% Optical and the AOP, which develops the education programme for the optical trade show.

Nathan Garnett, show director of 100% Optical, shared: “100% Optical first partnered with the AOP in July 2013. Without this partnership, 100% Optical would never have reached the heights it has today, being the only major optical trade show in the sector, and one that can rival Milan, Paris and New York Optical Trade Fairs.”

The partnership has grown stronger over the decade, Garnett said, “and helped us deliver a 10% increase in attendees in 2023 – a record-breaking show.”

Commenting on the partnership, AOP chief executive, Adam Sampson, said: “We’re delighted to see 100% Optical recognised as ‘Best Brand Collaboration’ at the Exhibition News Indy Awards. 100% Optical continues to be a standout event in the calendar and an important platform for us to come together as a sector.
