A new category of Best Innovation has been introduced, in celebration of the 10th anniversary of 100% Optical

Entries have opened for the Love Eyewear Awards, to be hosted at 100% Optical in February 2024.

The awards aim to celebrate eyewear, from independent and major designers, manufacturers and retailers.

A new category of Best Innovation has been introduced for the 2024 awards, in recognition of the 10th anniversary of 100% Optical.

Michelle Whitfield-Jones, senior marketing and brand manager of 100% Optical, said: “We’re really excited for the fourth edition of the Love Eyewear Awards. Over the years we have seen some incredible entries and a tough judging process to whittle down the best in each category.”

With 2024 representing a milestone in the show’s history, organisers are anticipating an exciting awards ceremony, with Whitfield-Jones sharing: “We’re very excited to see the entries that our brand new category will attract.”

“Our goal is always for 100% Optical to showcase the very best designs, products, research and innovation in the world of optics and eyewear, and our increasingly popular awards are the ideal opportunity to shine a light on all of these areas and more,” she continued.

Entries opened on 12 September and close on 4 December.

The shortlist will be revealed on 22 January, with winners announced on the 100% Optical catwalk on 24 February.
