Optometry Today (OT) has launched a new reader survey to explore how the pandemic has affected optometric practice, in partnership with CooperVision.

The survey, COVID-19 and optometric practice – OT insights research, seeks to understand the changes optometrists have seen in practice as well as views on remote consultations beyond the pandemic. The survey also considers the business priorities of optometrists, and the role contact lenses play within this.

Participation in the research is open to all practising optometrist AOP members in the UK.

Findings from the survey will be aggregated and used to produce a report in OT and will also inform future OT content in order to best support the changing needs of optometrists in practice.

The survey should take approximately 12 minutes to complete, and the page can be saved and returned to before submission.

All AOP members who complete the survey and provide a valid email address will be entered into a prize draw to win a High Street voucher worth £100. The prize draw opens on 23 June and closes on 11 July.

AOP members will receive an email including an invitation to access the survey via a Survey Monkey link, or can access the survey online.
