Inspecs and sportswear brand O’Neill have formed a new long-term licence agreement for both optical and sunglasses, renewing the current long-standing deal.
The new agreement builds on a partnership between the two companies that has been in place since 2013.
Robin Totterman, CEO of Inspecs, welcomed the extended agreement, commenting: “Our values match those of O’Neill’s as we work together towards a more sustainable future. I look forward to continuing to innovate with O’Neill, both in the optical and sunglasses categories.”
Throughout the partnership, Inspecs has worked with O’Neill to align with the brand’s sustainability initiative, O’Neill Blue, which focuses on reducing plastic waste.
Earlier this year, Inspecs launched the Wove frame for O’Neill, made from recycled ghost fishing nets with mineral glass lenses.
Commenting on the renewal, Ben Tazet, merchandising and licensing manager at O’Neill, said: “We are thrilled to extend our partnership with Inspecs. Inspecs has shown over the years its expertise in delivering outstanding designs and a constant push to develop innovations and sustainable solutions that matches the vision of our founder, Jack O’Neill.”
