Essilor launches Varilux marketing campaign

The company’s customers will be allocated a consultant to help create a personalised campaign

Essilor has launched a national marketing campaign for its Varilux brand of ophthalmic lenses in order to help independent practice owners increase footfall.

The company said that its See more do more campaign will run until the end of 2019 and reach 48.1 million people by sponsoring Channel 4’s All4 Escapism series.

Essilor customers will be allocated a consultant who will help create a personalised local campaign with co-branded marketing support materials.

Head of marketing at Essilor, Jason William, said: “We always strive to be the independent’s best business partner and our commitment includes helping businesses expand their sales and driving footfall through these campaigns.”

The campaign will target spectacles wearers on television catch up services and use online campaign elements including search engine optimisation, pay per click and digital display advertising.
