The eyewear company has added three new lenses to its service

Silhouette has expanded its Silhouette Vision Sensation initiative, which offers frames and lenses from a single source provider.

The initiative was launched in 2017 with the aim of tailoring each lens to perfectly fit Silhouette’s frames and now the eyewear company has made three new developments.

Managing director of Silhouette UK, Perry Moore, said: “Silhouette’s lenses are produced in the same vein as its glasses; with the utmost technical precision, extensive hand-craftsmanship and a heavy dose of dedication to the product and its wearer. This intricate process means guaranteed delivery times, improved quality and the perfect execution to both Silhouette’s customers and consumers alike.”

Updates include ultrathin lenses with a refractive index of 1.67. Silhouette explained that the higher the index, the slimmer and thus more attractive the lens.

Panorama occupational lenses have also been added, which are tailor-made for office working and help prevent tension in the neck and head.

Silhouette has also introduced a UV plus filter lens in order to provide protection against UV radiation and blue light.
