Tom Davies launches colour headset

Stockists will be able to order from 84 acetate colours and 28 titanium colours

Tom Davies headset

TD Tom Davies has launch a new colour headset for stockists, which introduces a simple but major innovation to its bespoke service, according to the eyewear company.

The lightweight, titanium headset holds Tom Davies acetate and titanium colour loupes that allows customers to ‘try on’ any colours from the eyewear brand’s collection and visualise what the final frame colour will look like.

Tom Davies stockists can now order from 84 acetate colours and 28 titanium colours, which will be available to view at Vision Expo West (26–29 September) and Silmo (28 September–1 October).

Speaking about the launch, founder of the eyewear company, Tom Davies, said: “I stopped selling colour loupes for my bespoke and custom service in 2017 because customer feedback suggested that it was hard to imagine what the colour would look like on a frame.

“However, I felt we lost something and after designing the headset which can hold the colour loupes like a frame, I realised I had created something special. From that moment, it was a race to get these launched.”

The colour headset has been launched alongside colour kits, which feature 20 new acetate colours and six new titanium colours.
