New sunglasses from Orgreen are inspired by architects Eero Saarinen and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe
23 March 2018
Orgreen launched a new capsule collection of sunglasses earlier this year.
The collection celebrates architects Eero Saarinen and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, and sees Orgreen incorporate the high modernist architectural technique of colour blocking in its frames.
Colour adviser at Orgreen, Sahra Lysell, told OT: “The colours are a balance of confidence, free spirit, a bit of craziness, and an ‘act today, regret tomorrow’ kind of feeling.”
A rounded rectangular frame for men and a round frame for women has been launched, which are both available in a variety of colour combinations.
The women’s frame, ‘Eero,’ is available in multi-colour matte fronts, such as blue and green to mustard and navy. ‘Mies’ (pictured), the men’s frame, is offered in two monochrome and three multi-coloured frame fronts, and four different chrome lenses.
