Marcolin and Diesel extend partnership

The eyewear company’s licence agreement to produce optical frames and sunglasses for Diesel has been extended to 2023

Alessandro Bogliolo, CEO of Diesel

The Marcolin Group and well-known fashion brand Diesel have confirmed the early renewal of its licence agreement for the design, production and worldwide distribution of Diesel eyewear.

The partnership between the two companies, which began in 2010, has been renewed until 2023.

The early renewal, Marcolin said, “highlights the willingness of both companies to pursue an even closer partnership that is based on a mutual approach to continuous research and experimentation in order to offer products that reflect the stylistic codes of the brand.”

Marcolin’s worldwide commercial general manager, Massimo Renon, commented that the early renewal of the eyewear licence with Diesel demonstrates the Group’s willingness to invest in the international brand.

“We are pleased Diesel recognised us as the ideal partner in terms of creativity, distributional strategies and level of service, with which to collaborate and develop synergies to ensure successful results,” he said.

CEO of Diesel, Alessandro Bogliolo, added: “Marcolin has always been a partner that is able to deeply understand the DNA of the Diesel brand, interpreting the style through optical frames and sunglasses that are of high quality and technicality.”
