Global eyewear manufacturer launches a digital training platform for UK independents
01 October 2015
Global eyewear manufacturer Luxottica has launched a digital training platform to provide independent practices with an insight into the development and production of the branded frames and sunglasses it sells.
The platform enables Luxottica customers to access the company's global expertise, with training modules on MyLuxAcademy covering production processes, frame materials, polarisation, visual merchandising and the latest collection.
The platform goes live to all independent Luxottica customers in the UK on Monday (28 September) and can be accessed at www.my.luxottica.com.
Head of sales for Luxottica's independent channel, Simon Jacobs, commented: "Our goal is to empower practice staff to feel confident around product design, features, benefits and brand stories, giving them a competitive edge and provide an opportunity to enhanced patient experience when selecting frames."
For more information, contact Luxottica via email or telephone on 0808 168 9680.
