Vijay Chauhan, associate director – business development at Bondeye Optical, shared that the company would continue supporting the industry with the distribution of brands including Volk and Oculus.

“Bringing these big brands to the Bondeye portfolio means we can offer more from our testing room section and enhance the service we provide, by adding a Volk and Oculus trial frame repair centre to our services,” Chauhan explained.

In-house engraving also allows customers to customise equipment if desired.

Chauhan told OT: “This was a huge step for us, as early last year, we created a website dedicated to students which allows them to purchase equipment they would need for their degree and future careers. Having Volk, Oculus, and Heine onboard means not only can we supply the best brands, but also at the best price.”

In December, Optoplast – part of the Millmead Group – acquired the cases and cloths portfolio of Louis Stone Optical.
