Bradford students at KeelerOptometry undergraduates from the University of Bradford have been given an insight into the manufacturing of ophthalmic equipment through a tour of Keeler’s UK facility.

Over 40 students attended the tour of the Windsor-based plant, during which they had the opportunity to learn how to make an ophthalmoscope and hear about the manufacturing process of the testing room tool.

Keeler UK sales and marketing manager, Laura Haverly, who ran the tour, told OT: “It was a privilege to meet with future optometrists. We had a great day and I hope the students left with valuable knowledge that will help them with their course and future career.”
