Heidelberg Engineering is offering a series of courses to help practitioners improve their optical coherence tomography (OCT) knowledge and skills.

An OCT hands on operation course is being offered in Hemel Hempstead in July, August, October and November.

Heidelberg Engineering reports that the course is suitable for anybody who wants to learn more about Heyex software operation, gain hands on experience using the Spectralis OCT and learn more about its capability.

A second course, OCT in acute services operation and interpretation, will run on 29 September. The company describes the programme as a “comprehensive course covering image acquisition, evaluation of image quality, operation of the Heyex software and clinical interpretation of Spectralis retinal images, to include diagnosis and progression management.”

A final course detailing multimodal imaging in the evaluation of glaucoma will be held on 13 September. The course will cover image acquisition, evaluation of image quality, operation of the Heyex software and clinical interpretation of Spectralis glaucoma imaging modalities.

Further details, including course dates, times and pricing, is available on the Heidelberg Engineering Academy website
