Dr Jamie Kuzniar is the owner and founder of Elevate Eye Care + Eyewear. She received her doctorate in optometry from the Michigan College of Optometry where she received in-depth training in specialty contact lenses and the treatment and management of ocular diseases.
After graduation, Jamie completed a corneal disease and contact lens residency at Indiana University where she became an expert at specialty contact lens fitting for conditions such as keratoconus, post-corneal transplant, corneal ectasia and severe dry eye. She has a passion for fitting gas permeable contact lenses, especially scleral contact lenses as well as myopia management and designing orthokeratology lenses for children and adults.
Jamie has been the recipient of many awards and accolades, and in 2022, was voted by Newsweek as #15 on their list of top eye doctors in America. She is a fellow of the Scleral Lens Society as well as the American Academy of Optometry.
