Webinar: The return of the myope
Identifying and fitting myopes with a myopia management strategy is the start of a journey in reducing the worsening myopia in children. As part of management, regular aftercare is essential to monitor success, or not, of any specific strategy. This lecture will describe how to amend current clinical practice to incorporate specific elements of myopia management for both spectacles and contact lenses. Aftercare of a myope requires careful attention to adherence and discussion with both parent and child patient to manage expectations and maximise continued success in a chosen strategy.

- An understanding of the specific recommendations that can improve adherence to a prescribed myopia management regimen
- The ability to encourage adherence to a prescribed myopia management regime through correct follow up protocols

Elizabeth is director of global professional affairs for myopia management with CooperVision, working with regional marketing and professional affairs teams delivering professional education and training programs as well as driving publication planning in support of myopia management interventions including MiSight 1 day, orthokeratology and SightGlass Vision.
