Each session will be delivered by an expert on a range of key topics of value to practitioners who are yet to invest, those just starting out, as well as clinicians already experienced in using these enhanced diagnostic technologies.

Webinar: OCT – what else can it do?

This session will cover some of the less common diagnostic uses of OCT in clinical practice, including how anterior OCT can be used in the fitting of specialist contact lenses, glaucoma diagnosis and monitoring and to assist in the differential diagnosis of anterior eye disease, particularly of the cornea. The webinar will also cover some additional techniques such as en-face imaging and OCT-A to demonstrate how this can be useful across a wide spectrum of diseases.

Craig McArthur

Craig McArthurCraig McArthur is the optometrist-owner of Peter Ivins Eye Care, an award-winning independent optometric practice near Glasgow. He is also a clinical advisor and consultant to a number of companies and is a regular contributor to industry journals.

Craig lectures extensively throughout the UK, Europe and further afield on a variety of subjects and is a key opinion leader within the optometric industry. He is involved with a range of clinical trials within the contact lens industry, pharmaceuticals industry and in conjunction with Glasgow Memory Clinic.

Craig was also responsible for developing a nationwide macular screening programme for Scotland's largest independent optical chain, the first of its kind in the UK. Within Peter Ivins Eye Care he is involved in the shared care of glaucoma patients, partnering with consultants within a number of local hospitals.
