This session will delve into age-appropriate vision testing for children and the techniques used to assess the visual function of paediatric patients. The lecture will also address the normative values for both vision and refractive error, and provide a guide to when it is appropriate to prescribe for children, in particular those under 10 years of age. Finally, delegates will be informed on how to adapt the environment for children, safeguarding and other pearls of wisdom.
