Members invited to share in Government’s ‘national conversation’ to shape the future of the NHS
We’re calling on members to share their views and ideas on the future of NHS eye care
This week the Government launched a public consultation to shape its overhaul of the NHS and future plans for healthcare.
Clinicians, experts and the public are encouraged to share views and ideas on healthcare in what has been described as the “biggest national conversation about the future of the NHS since its birth”.
The six-week consultation process will inform the Government’s 10-Year Health Plan, due to be published in the spring 2025.
As part of the consultation, organisations are being asked to respond to specific questions.
We are consulting with members on their ideas on the 10 year Health Plan by inviting you to take part in a questionnaire by 22 November. Responses will inform our consultation submission to Government.
You can also read our corresponding policy briefing Change NHS: help to build a health service fit for the future.
Alongside, gathering feedback from members, we will be working with other organisations across the sector, as well as in primary care to formulate our response.
The consultation closes on 2 December.
