AOP champions member voices in new benefits video

The Association of Optometrists (AOP) produces a new member focused video to showcase the support the AOP provides through members’ careers.

The new video offers members the opportunity to hear from their counterparts about why they value the professional and personal support the AOP provides in serving, safeguarding, and promoting their interests.

The video represents the diversity of the AOP’s membership and highlights the experiences of members in varied modes of practice and stages of their career.

Featuring a locum, business owner and early career member, the video reflects the range of ways AOP membership offers peace of mind at every step of a member’s career journey.

Louisa Cliff, Marketing Manager at the AOP said: “We’re excited to share members’ stories about the value they place on membership in our new video. It is important to represent the voices of our members to give a well rounded view of the support the AOP provides throughout their careers.”

“Our members are best placed to share their experiences of accessing the benefits we offer, from our legal and clinical advice to our education offering and advocacy on issues impacting the profession, so it is great to hear in their own words about why they value their AOP membership.”

Alongside the new video, the AOP will be rolling out a brand refresh to reflect the strides made in raising the profile of the profession as part of a five year strategy to develop the AOP’s influence in policy, campaigning and external affairs.

The refresh includes a brighter colour palette and graphic patterns, a new brand story to explain its purpose, and new brand personality principles to broaden its tone of voice for effective communication with different audiences.
