The life-changing impact of technology that aids independence was emphasised at 100% Optical
Technology that can help visually impaired people recognise currency, faces and read text was on display at 100% Optical (27–29 January).
Speaking with OT at the event, OrCam international business development manager, Leon Paull, emphasised that the MyEye device is “life-changing.”
“This is technology that gives independence and the ability to live alone to people whom surgery or glasses can no longer provide a solution for,” he shared.
