OutsideClinic to relocate

OutsideClinic will relocate its headquarters in spring, in a milestone that forms part of the company’s ambition to “stay ahead of the curve in terms of growth.”

The move will see more than 200 colleagues relocate from the Old Town address to South Marston Industrial Estate, Swindon.

The two-floor property will house all head office departments, and will be the key location for training and development of new optometrists and audiologists.

The new location provides 22,000 square feet of space, allowing space for departments to grow, the company said, and room for well-equipped kitchens, break-out areas, training facilities and flexible spaces allocated for wellbeing.

OutsideClinic collaborated with head office colleagues by setting up forums and focus groups to support collective decision-making.

Michelle Peel, OutsideClinic’s joint venture partnerships director, called the new head office a “major milestone” representing the company’s “growth and success.”

“It is the start of something new and brings with it the opportunity to introduce new technologies and working practices, which will, in turn, bring about a better working environment for everyone,” Peel said. “We are committed to providing colleagues with the best possible working conditions and we are confident that the new head office will play a key role in creating a healthy workplace that supports every employee’s physical, mental and social wellbeing.”

The company suggested the move forms part of its ongoing efforts to keep ahead of growth, and follows a recent rebrand, along with the launch of a new website. 

To meet growing demand for domiciliary services, the company continues to recruit optometrists and audiologists across the UK.
