Kristina Mihic

What is your professional passion?

My passions are contact lenses and myopia control. I always had an interest in special contact lens fitting and enjoyed transferring my knowledge of contact lenses to students.

What are you most proud of?

I’m very proud of winning the International Association of Contact Lens Educators travel award and becoming a PhD student at City, University of London.

What is your next career goal?

I plan to finish my PhD. After that I would like to stay working in education as a lecturer.

How do you manage a work/life balance?

Balancing your professional life with your personal life can be difficult, especially in today's world. I think that the time management is the most important and to be passionate about what you do.

What do you do to unwind?

I usually get outdoors to take a walk or do something sporty.

You have won the OT lottery. What are the first three things you would do with the £1m jackpot?

I'd go on holiday, invest for the future, and buy something nice for friends and family members.

Do you have your next holiday booked?

Yes: my next holiday is to my home country, Croatia.
