Specsavers has launched a series of online education sessions open to all optometrists, contact lens opticians and dispensing opticians.

The 16 Mini Professional Advancement Conference (MiniPAC) online lectures are CPD-approved and will run from 21 March through to June.

Speaking about MiniPAC, head of professional development at Specsavers, Neil Retallic, said: “Specsavers is a passionate supporter of CPD because it benefits both the development of clinicians and our patients, which is why we are running the MiniPAC online series.”

He highlighted that the sessions are open to both Specsavers and non-Specsavers clinicians, adding that they will “cover subjects such as dispensing, successful contact lens fitting, referrals, independent prescribing, professionalism, visual fields, unlocking children’s vision for life, and wellbeing through purpose.”

Specsavers will also deliver face-to-face MiniPAC sessions for practitioners within its group across the UK and the Republic of Ireland from March to June.
