Boots Opticians has unveiled a new look for its Nottingham Victoria Centre practice, following a recent refurbishment.

The re-opening was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by the Lord Mayor of Nottingham, Wendy Smith, and a special launch party.

The Victoria Centre Boots Opticians first opened in 1983 and was the first in-store practice for Boots.

The refurbishment sees a new open plan and modern design with upgraded equipment, providing an enhanced service while making it easier for customers to browse the frame styles available.

The practice offers NHS and private eye tests, contact lens aftercare and free contact lens fitting and trials, as well as OCT scans.

The store also has a revamped Boots Hearingcare facility.

James Pye, store manager at Boots Opticians Nottingham Victoria Centre, said: “We are delighted to show off our new refreshed store and can’t wait to welcome the people of Nottingham, whether they are coming in for an eye test for the first time, upgrading their frames or having a contact lens check. We hope they will love it, as much as we do.”

The latest refurbishment forms part of a wider investment programme into Boots Opticians practices across the country.
